Last week I said that there were two schools of thought on how to face the obstacles in life. One is the "Loving What Is" school of thought, and the other is the "Watch What You Are Feeling and Always Move Toward What Feels Good" school of thought.
The first has made its way into our considerations around these things through the work (although not exclusively) of Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle, and others. The second approach has been placed into our consciousness through the work (although, again, not exclusively) of Esther and Jerry Hicks, as they bring through the teachings of the Life Essence who invites us to refer to it by the name Abraham.

of light-filled energy to bless all that is honored in this way. When a
blessing of thanksgiving is made in any moment, it confers light-filled
Divine energy upon the person who sends it, as well as the situation
being blessed. In challenging times it may seem difficult to find
something to feel grateful for. In spite of this difficulty, one way to
create a positive change in your life is to give thanks for what you
have now. You can even give thanks in advance for what you want to

out into the world dealing with perhaps family, friends, those 3D
pockets of reality that we have to be in? We might not necessarily be
aware that there is some negative energy or the possibility of attack.
In general, could you just talk about that?
Ekara : The first thing I would say is to remove yourself from these
things. When you will listen again to Solarys’ earlier lecture, [It’s
all in your Head, recorded on the same day, in which she discusses
personality and the neural net of neurosynaptic pathways within the
brain] I can tell you that all of these things we’re talking about to
those that are now going back out into the world, reconnecting with
family and friends and things like that, truly must come to an end. I’m
not saying that you need to separate yourself, I’m saying that you need
to separate your personality from these things, to eventually reunify –
whenever that happens – in the timeline when the personality no longer
exists.

From the experts I am told it takes thirty days to rid yourself of a negative behavior or bad habit. However from my own experience it will take as long as I want it to or not. In other words we have the power within us to decide how we will react to something and just how long we want to hang on. Interesting, how people will fuss and kick up the dust as much as possible while others know its not necessary to. Its your drama and you may continue to regurgitate the pain and suffer through it long after you could have processed it and be on your merry way. Presently time is contracting and I personally don't have the time to indulge in petty repetition. The remedy is to focus on the solutions and not the problem. Stop running from yourself, take time to feel and process and then love yourself enough to go forward.

who are not happy in their life. As I read their heartfelt outpourings,
I become very clear that every day on the spiritual path offers an
invitation and a challenge.
The invitation is to step up to
the next level of self-exploration, self-creation and self-fulfillment,
and the challenge is to `weather the storm' that is in front of us
right now from which that invitation arises, and to keep coming back to

Recently I worked, via telephone, with a teenager, Linda, from the East Coast. Her mother had received a session a few weeks before and hoped I could “fix” her daughter. Jan was raising her daughter alone and wanted to be sure I knew all the details of what was going on with her daughter.
When Linda called, she sounded like any typical 15-year-old girl with braces. She was intelligent and intuitive, responsible and capable. She knew what she loved in life, and desired great achievements. I asked her to explain briefly what was going on and what she would like work on. She questioned why she was not getting along with her mom like she used to. We began to work on making the transition from childhood into young adulthood a bit smoother.

It has been plaguing me off and on, the chaos that challenges consist of. Mostly, it is not so much a matter of not knowing, but rather not realizing I know at the appropriate time: I usually hit my nose, and then think: "Hey, I knew that! I was supposed to had done that first!" Because that happens a lot, I'm considered inaccurate by some, which is a nuisance, and causes me unnecessary uneasiness.
Yesterday on the train, I overheard a word in conversation: Diligence can best be described as the ability to tirelessly string together numerous little tasks, delivering quality work in the process. I suddenly, right there and then, realized that I'd found the title of my new software project: Diligence. If you don't have the mind for it, like me, just dump your knowledge into Diligence, and it will tell you what needs to be done, better than your mind does. It'll keep you from having to remember all those seemingly non-relevant details, knitted together so as to form one coherent web of activities, that will help you in achieving quality without wrecking your brain all the time!
